‘‘Poor quality’’
I received these boots as a Christmas present from my mom (I knew I was getting them because I picked them out) but within two months use (not daily use), the loop that holds the cuff buckle broke. They’re still wearable but it bothers me that there’s a random piece of leather hanging off all the time. I feel like boots at this price point should stay intact for longer than 2 months.
‘‘Kodiak never disappoints’’
I have been wearing Kodiak boots for several years now and own 3 pairs! They all are very comfortable and do not require what I would call break in time. They look good with jeans and nice skirts as well. The Callwood boot looks sharp and I ordered a 1/2 size up for myself because I like wearing socks with my boots. I normally wear 6.5 and am very pleased with the size 7. I oiled them and they darkened a bit which I like a lot,too.Nice flap for design and function and gives them a different look than my other pairs! Best of all my feet don’t hurt anymore and I can enjoy boots again. After all day in them no problems whatsoever.
‘‘I love these boots.’’
I bought these a few days ago after searching for boots this height for a long time. Love the look, the fit, everything. My only complaint is they are staining my hands when I put them on, and my socks have turned black on the parts that were touching the boot tongue. I hope this stops happening the more I wear them.
