Behind the classic looks are serious safety features—like a composite toe, composite puncture resistant plate, and an oil and slip resistant rubber outsole. Waterproof and insulated, it’ll keep you working your best when the weather turns. Also available in a soft toe model.

3M™ Thinsulate™
Thinsulate™ insulation works by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The microfibres in Thinsulate™ insulation are finer and trap more air in less space, which naturally makes it a better insulator.
OrthoLite® Comfort Foam
OrthoLite® comfort foam provides odour-fighting anti-microbial function, moisture management, and long-term cushioning.
Comfortzone System
Comfortzone® System. An anatomically engineered foodbed with deep heel cushioning and dual-density urethane technology delivers optimum shock absorption and comfort. Anti-microbial treated top layer inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungus.

‘‘comfort’’
It took me a while to find the 8" kodiak boot but I grew up wearing them. I have been out of construction for a number of years but need good boots for a house renovation. They look more like a hiking boot than a safety boot. I remember the Greb name and the great boots they made.
‘‘Feels light but durable’’
They're a comfortable pair of tall boots with a classic style that's why I bought them but they stay on my feet because of the waterproofing. I do outdoor construction and they have held up to every puddle that I have thrown at them so far. Even if I accidently plunk into a puddle that's taller than the boot my foot stays dry! just make sure you've properly tied them well and snug. Anyway, its only been about a week so far. Will write back in a month or so.
‘‘Comfy & Light’’
So far so good. Haven’t worn them in terms of work wear yet just breaking them but comfortable and light and nice classic look. Fits true.
