"Kodiak McKinney 8" soft toe, size 10. Great customer service and fast shipping! These boots are comfortable right out of the box. Wore them around the house for a few hours and the initial comfort was excellent for a heavy work boot....after break in these will be a dream to wear. The production quality is excellent for the price point, no imperfections...very well made...a "good looking" boot, fit is excellent as well. I was hesitant about the lack of lace hooks on the top eyelets, but fully laced up, with the laces loosened I can easily slip my foot into the boot...easy on and off. Also the boot pull strap is the best I have ever come across. After six hours of break in I treated the boot with Obenaufs Heavy Duty LP leather treatment. The leather darkened (which is normal with Obenaufs) and turned a nice medium chocolate brown (photo image), which is ok by me because performance and longevity is more important than aesthetics. I am looking forward to putting these boots through the wringer, and expect that they will handle anything I will subject them to regardless of the conditions..... wandering the outdoors, hunting, camping, etc."
