"I work on a farm performing manual labor, not the most intense stuff in the world but tough work and heavy use for sure. I've been wearing these every day at work for 6ish months and I think it's a decent boot that starts to age just a little early. Very comfortable the first 4-5 months, until the outside started to get kinda crusty and a little harder than when first bought. The waterproofing lasted less than a month before I had to start adding mink oil every week. Even then not fully waterproof. They're sturdy, have a solid bottom, and were easy to put on until that crustiness I mentioned. Leg opening is a little wide so seeds and small debris can fall in if your pants don't fully cover them."

"Comfy. Supportive. Wide toe box w. wide size. H2O proof in light rain; haven’t worn yet in downpour. Bit tricky slipping foot in without crumpling up heel-I’ve developed a2step approach which works great & no heel slippage. i think cool & good overal utility boot. Highly recommend."

Does Tarbot come in wide width?: This boot only comes in 1 width, it is a 2E width.
I'm interested in purchasing the slip-on Tarbot boot in the Fossil finish. I wear 8.5 D in a normal shoe. Your information states this boot runs a little 'snug' so I'm wondering if a size 9 would be the best option. I would use normal cotton/crew socks.
